With their pitching staff in a scramble, the Los Angeles Dodgers recalled left-hander Justin Wrobleski on Thursday and optioned right-hander J.P. Feyereisen.
Wrobleski, 24, is heading into his second stint with the club this season. His lone appearance of 2025 came April 8 against the Washington Nationals when he was rocked for eight runs on eight hits with three walks in a five-inning start.
In nine appearances (seven starts) with the Dodgers over the past two seasons, Wrobleski is 1-3 with a 6.75 ERA.
Feyereisen, 32, has gone 0-1 with a 13.50 ERA in two relief outings with the Dodgers this season. Over parts of five major league seasons, he is 8-7 with a 3.27 ERA in 97 appearances (two starts) with four different clubs.
Right-hander Roki Sasaki became the third Dodgers starter to go down with an injury since the start of the season, after he was put on the injured list with a right shoulder impingement this week. Los Angeles was set to go with a bullpen game against the Athletics on Thursday with right-hander Matt Sauer scheduled to start.
